AndyBak 17 Posted August 10, 2017 Posted August 10, 2017 My Windows Home Server (v2011) died this week due to a failed O/S drive (all media etc still present on separate drive pools). Decided that I would take this opportunity to do a fresh install of Emby as the previous had been year on year updates on the back of a legacy MB install. All has gone well and everything appears to be up and running however what I have noticed is the change to how metadata is stored, use of info files opposed to the older xml files. The new media being organised is being allocated the info files but should I be removing the older XML files (stored locally within the media structures)? Thanks
ebr 16185 Posted August 10, 2017 Posted August 10, 2017 You can remove them or not that is up to you. NFO is the standard going forward. Thanks.
