Library Scan Failed

I've noticed that with the latest version of Emby (3.2.26.0) sometimes my library scan fails after I replace content. I have Emby running as a service and if I restart the service the issue clears and I can run a library scan again. It's not a huge issue since the fix is pretty straight forward but I wanted to report the issue anyway.

Hi @@RedBaron164, this is something you're going to have to look at:

	System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path '\\LUIGI\Music\Bomb Factory' is denied.

For some reason that directory was not inheriting permissions from the root folder. I re-pushed permissions down from the root so that particular error should not come back. However, if it was a permissions issue I would expect the Library scan to fail all the time and it doesn't, after I restart the service it's fine.

 

After reviewing the logs some more I think it has more to do with a memory issue I was having than anything else. The log reported this before the scan failed:

 

"System.OutOfMemoryException: Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown."

 

I think I've resolved the memory issue so for now I'm just going to keep an eye on this to see if the issue comes back.
