RedBaron164 18 Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 (edited) I've noticed that with the latest version of Emby (3.2.26.0) sometimes my library scan fails after I replace content. I have Emby running as a service and if I restart the service the issue clears and I can run a library scan again. It's not a huge issue since the fix is pretty straight forward but I wanted to report the issue anyway. server-63637747200.txt Edited August 8, 2017 by RedBaron164
Luke 42085 Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 Hi @@RedBaron164, this is something you're going to have to look at: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path '\\LUIGI\Music\Bomb Factory' is denied.

For some reason that directory was not inheriting permissions from the root folder. I re-pushed permissions down from the root so that particular error should not come back. However, if it was a permissions issue I would expect the Library scan to fail all the time and it doesn't, after I restart the service it's fine. After reviewing the logs some more I think it has more to do with a memory issue I was having than anything else. The log reported this before the scan failed: "System.OutOfMemoryException: Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown." I think I've resolved the memory issue so for now I'm just going to keep an eye on this to see if the issue comes back. Edited August 8, 2017 by RedBaron164
