So I shouldn't be using embuary? How do I go about changing to the ones with next-gen plugin? It's steep learning curve and I'm trying to learn as much as possible but boy it ain't easy. daniel.bmyer 11 Posted January 17 Posted January 17 (edited) In poking around I see if I go to Add-ons, I see a Emby for Kodi Next Gen, clicking that I get Synced Nodes , Movies, I can see all my libraries. If I go to Add-on Browser, My Add-ons, Video-ons, I see Emby for Kodi Next Gen (Video) enabled. I just don't see how to customize the skin/nodes and replace with the one for next-gen plugin Then I also see people talking about Estuary ModV2. I feel like I'm running around in circles. As mentioned, trying to emulate the look of Emby of my Nvidia Shield TV with all my libraries. I do have the kodi plugin on my emby server. Edited January 17 by daniel.bmyer
quickmic 1728 Posted January 17 Posted January 17 (edited) Every skin is customizable beside the default/stock Kodi. I use EstuaryModV2 but you can also use Embuary. Whatever you like, keep in mind Embuary is no longer active maintained. Here is a video, it's for a different skin, but the concept is everywhere the same. And don't use dynamic nodes, stick to the regular ones from next gen plugin. Synced nodes are way faster and supports all Kodi's features. Edited January 17 by quickmic
daniel.bmyer 11 Posted January 17 Posted January 17 Thanks for the video. WHere do I find the estuarymodv2 skin? Is there a repository for that?

I have made quite a bit of progress. With help and a lot of reading, I found the culprit. In the Windows folder addons\skin.embuary-matrix\fonts contains the file materialdesignicons-webfont.ttf which obviously no longer draws the old icons, but only hieroglyphs. Then at some point I ended up with version: v2.8.94 from 2018: https://github.com/Templarian/MaterialDesign-Webfont/commits/master?after=57b567a448bd579892174cd47c47f9e187ea56c6+34&branch=master&path[]=fonts&qualified_name=refs%2Fheads%2Fmaster#:~:text=Sep 21%2C 2018-,v2.8.94,-Templarian If you now replace this file with the existing one, you will get almost all the icons back: So for all Windows users: simply copy the file in the attachment into the folder mentioned above. Sollte noch jemand eine Idee haben wie ich die anderen Symbole wieder herstellen kann, gern her damit. Since all Android/Libre users have reported that their icons still work, I would of course be pleased if you could perhaps provide me with the file, maybe your file is a different one. There is also a licence file in the folder, maybe this one too. Thank you all! Thank you and best regards Seger materialdesignicons-webfont.ttf 407.05 kB · 13 downloads I've managed to fix all the Embuary icons. It was necessary to modify the embuary_settings.xml file and let the materialdesignicons-webfont.ttf file from the installation. I'll upload them this afternoon so they can be downloaded. Now, the next challenge is fixing favorites in the skin, but my knowledge is limited, and I would appreciate any help possible. Edited April 29 by Esmallin
