AaronG85 48 Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 (edited) Hey guys i recently purchased a Samsung HomeSync and have had great success with XBMC but with how fast MB3 is being developed and all the features available i really wanted to try it on my HomeSync, so went to the android store and brought it and it installed great on my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 but said it was incompatible with the HomeSync (like 90% of the other apps) so i was wondering is there anywhere i can prove i have purchased it and get the APK file? swhitmore 781 Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 (edited) This is just my guess, but I doubt it would be released like that since it would be very easy for someone to share/pirate it. Also it would make updating difficult. You would be better off trying to find out what's involved in getting the app compatible with the HomeSync. You might get lucky and find that its just a matter of getting it approved. Edited February 24, 2014 by swhitmore
AaronG85 48 Posted February 24, 2014 Author Posted February 24, 2014 That really is a shame as im sure alot of people buying the HomeSync would love to run MB3 is there any chance a developer could look into this?

Help the devs out and do a bit of research first. Find out what you can about getting an app approved and post it here. Edited February 24, 2014 by swhitmore
AaronG85 48 Posted February 24, 2014 Author Posted February 24, 2014 From some research it looks to be a software thing with Samsung but have the developers looked into getting MB3 approved for the Samsung App Store (http://developer.samsung.com/distribute/app-submission-guide) 1
Redshirt 1487 Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 I will look at it when I can free up some time. These other app stores are more work to get into than the Google store and are going to require me to maintain multiple copies of my app as well. Which can be a maintainability nightmare.
AaronG85 48 Posted February 27, 2014 Author Posted February 27, 2014 Can completely understand and thank you for taking on my suggestion.
