arche 177 Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 Or do some people on this board seem to be getting a little touchy lately? Devs are doing a great job with the information they are given by some (including me) to help fix issues that they can reproduce, just my opinion, but the self-entitlement with some needs to be brought down a notch. Was gone for a few months tending to personal things and come back and there is alot of anger on this board lately. We are a "community", some in my opinion really need to act like they have common sense and basic human decency. Just saying.... 1
aptalca 71 Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 I think that tends to happen when an open source project goes mainstream and reaches a broader audience. The initial/core audience seems to be more the early adopters, perhaps more hi-tech, used to bleeding edge and don't mind it. But when the audience grows, you get more regular folks who are less familiar with how these projects are really developed behind the scenes and may have different expectations than the initial core audience. I think it's a good sign that the emby audience is growing. I'm a glass half full kinda guy if you haven't noticed 2

For an extreme example of this go hang around the Kodi forums if you have not already. These forums are tame compared to the crap they have to deal with.
