Way to have "Keep up to" only keep the latest episodes?

For example, if I tell it to keep only 3 episodes, when it records the the 4th episode, it automatically deletes the first episode. WMC could do this. Is this possible?

Are you talking about recording live tv with emby? We have series recording options and a "keep up to" setting that you can configure for each series recording. Let us know if this helps. Thanks.

That is the setting I am talking about. Here is an example.

 

I am watching BBT. I set the "keep up to" setting to keep up to three episodes. It records 3 episodes. I do not delete them. When the next episode airs, it appears Emby does not record the new episode because it sees there are already 3 episodes. Ideally, Emby would delete the oldest episode and replace it with the newest episode. Does that make sense?

No that's not true. Prior to starting the 4th recording, it will delete the oldest episode, and the it will proceed with the new recording. If you think you're experiencing an issue then please attach the information requested in how to report a problem. thanks !
