Basically I don't want my porn showing up on my dashboard/home screen In the event that I login to watch movies with the family.

Can I do that with the current setup? The only thing i could hid it from is 'latest media' as far as i can tell.

Got to have different users?

Agree.  Separate user w/ separate library is the only way.  Or parental rating, but that assumes your porn all has a rating.... might get embarrassing if one snuck in w/o any rating at all :)

or setup a different server for your adult content

I think i might just go with a separate unlisted user account :/ not ideal, but it gets the job done.

Though the option to prevent a library/item from showing up elsewhere could be handy (next up, continue watching, suggestions, ect)

Is it really necessary to have Emby catalog your porn? The risk of it popping up unintentionally especially in a household with kids?? i would just install an instance of Kodi on what ever system your using and point it to your porn source via the file manager. Not worth the risk IMHO.

Everyone with any sort of access or chance of seeing media from my server is over 18. Really not too worried about that.

Atm its a separate library that only one user has access too.

there is no risk with media in separate libraries. Its the only way to guarantee parental controls full stop as the age related metadata is patchy at best, far from foolproof
