utah-dave 5 Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 Ok I finally jumped into converting all my media into MKV formats. On some movies it bad and others its not. I get jitters, some times is hard to see it and others its like watching a stack of photos in a flip book. and it can be on the same film. It dose it on the web and well as the apps, If I play the movie in VLC its just fine. so it have to do with the trans coding some how. But I am playing that off of the network share not from the emby server. The server is a VM with 8 cpu and 32gb of ram. the VHD is sitting on a PCI SSD, so speed is not the problem. is it the hardware? thoughts?
