islipfd19 0 Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 So I've been troubleshooting why some pictures upload to Emby off my phone and why others do not. I found that pictures larger than 1MB do not upload even when I'm connected to my wifi. Is this a limitation of Emby, is there a cap on how large the pictures can be, is there a setting I can change or is this a bug?
islipfd19 0 Posted July 27, 2017 Author Posted July 27, 2017 What phone? It's a OnePlus 3, device model ONEPLUS A3000. It's running CM13 (CyanogenMod) android 6.0.1. It has the latest Emby app installed on it as well, version 2.9.37.
islipfd19 0 Posted July 28, 2017 Author Posted July 28, 2017 @@Luke - I discovered what the issue was/is with not being able to upload pictures larger than 1MB in size. I'm using nginx as a reverse proxy to serve Emby. I had to explicitly configure Emby to allow a file of a certain size to be uploaded. If users are having a similar issue, the following can be added to the nginx.conf file and their sites-available file for Emby:/etc/nginx/sites-available/<file name> server { client_max_body_size 8M; //other lines... } /etc/nginx/nginx.conf http { client_max_body_size 8M; client_body_timeout 120s; //other lines... } I used a larger file size than what I provided as an example but users should have an idea.
