coldlogic 0 Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Hello, i run Sabayon linux which is based off of Gentoo linux. I just had to redo my system and i went to redownload the emby server .tar files only to find the manual install option in the downloads section of emby's website is gone. Does anyone know of a alternative location to obtain the server installation files?
Luke 42077 Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 We used to have manual download instructions but we never had a .tar download. There is a community member who maintains the Gentoo install. Could that be used?
coldlogic 0 Posted July 27, 2017 Author Posted July 27, 2017 there was a link to download the emby server with the manual instructions, that is where I obtained it in the past. It is possible for Sabayon to use Gentoo's portage tree instead of its own entropy however from what i have read its a bit compilcated and might be above my skill level, I will look into it if there is no other way to install the way i did in the past.
coldlogic 0 Posted July 27, 2017 Author Posted July 27, 2017 I never heard of docker, but it is available for Sabayon. I will give it a try, thank you
