paulsalter 84 Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 (edited) I have one show which has stopped getting metadata, it's a daily show and yesterdays episode and todays are not getting metadata Title is just showing the file name (minus extension) and aired date/year is missing, all episodes from monday and prior are fine The show is Neighbours, Season 33, Episodes 142 & 143 I have done a restart of the server and then manually tried to refresh them, hopefully the logs show something Thanks This is what i get in the NFO <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" standalone="yes"?> <episodedetails> <plot /> <outline /> <lockdata>false</lockdata> <dateadded>2017-07-25 14:52:03</dateadded> <title>Neighbours - S33E142 - Episode 7652 2017 07 25</title> <runtime>22</runtime> <art> <poster>E:\TV\Neighbours\Season 33\Neighbours - S33E142 - Episode 7652 2017 07 25-thumb.jpg</poster> </art> <episode>142</episode> <season>33</season> <fileinfo> <streamdetails> <video> <codec>h264</codec> <micodec>h264</micodec> <bitrate>1069309</bitrate> <width>720</width> <height>400</height> <aspect>16:9</aspect> <aspectratio>16:9</aspectratio> <framerate>25</framerate> <scantype>progressive</scantype> <default>True</default> <forced>False</forced> <duration>22</duration> <durationinseconds>1307</durationinseconds> </video> <audio> <codec>aac</codec> <micodec>aac</micodec> <bitrate>192000</bitrate> <language>eng</language> <scantype>progressive</scantype> <channels>2</channels> <samplingrate>48000</samplingrate> <default>False</default> <forced>False</forced> </audio> <subtitle> <codec>subrip</codec> <micodec>subrip</micodec> <language>eng</language> <scantype>progressive</scantype> <default>True</default> <forced>False</forced> </subtitle> </streamdetails> </fileinfo> </episodedetails> Edited July 26, 2017 by paulsalter
paulsalter 84 Posted July 26, 2017 Author Posted July 26, 2017 Thanks for the reply As far as i can tell all looks ok on tvdb, currently goes up to ep 169 I have added other shows recently and all is good, just this one seems to have stopped updating yesterday
Luke 42080 Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 If you try refreshing those episodes now, do they pull in metadata?
paulsalter 84 Posted July 27, 2017 Author Posted July 27, 2017 no change The NFO gets updated when i do this (looking at the time stamp), but the content remains as above It is a very big show, well over 1000 episodes in total, if that might have any impact
paulsalter 84 Posted July 27, 2017 Author Posted July 27, 2017 Just done a refresh of ep 142 & 143, full refresh including images Not sure which of these files you need, both have a similar time on them Thanks
Luke 42080 Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Can you try refreshing from the series level? thanks.
paulsalter 84 Posted July 28, 2017 Author Posted July 28, 2017 Hi, Just did a complete refresh Started at 09:15 UK time and took approx 10 mins Thanks
paulsalter 84 Posted July 28, 2017 Author Posted July 28, 2017 Complete refresh of the series as you asked in post #8
Luke 42080 Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 Also did you even compare against tvdb? Because unless i'm mistaken, this is all the info they have on that episode: http://thetvdb.com/?tab=episode&seriesid=73983&seasonid=693034&id=6181654&lid=7
Luke 42080 Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 Or if it's supposed to be Neighbors, i guess this would be it: http://thetvdb.com/?tab=episode&seriesid=76719&seasonid=691948&id=6214157&lid=7
paulsalter 84 Posted July 28, 2017 Author Posted July 28, 2017 Yes i did compare it with tvdb Did you even read my first post about the data The episode you mentioned is shown with a title of 'Episode 7652' aired on 2017-07-25, The aired date is not being picked up and the episode title is just the file name Episodes 1 to 141 are perfect Season listing, note the title for the last 2 episodes this is Ep 141 which is correct here is 142 (ep 143 is similar), note the Title (this is the file name minus the extension) and missing Aired Date I have totally refreshed all metadata and new nfo files have been created Thanks
Luke 42080 Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 Attached is the zip file we download from tvdb that contains all of the metadata for the entire series. For some reason it stops at episode 141 for that season. I don't know why. You'll probably have to create a topic in their community. Thanks. en .zip
paulsalter 84 Posted July 29, 2017 Author Posted July 29, 2017 (edited) How are you downloading the zip file with only 141 episodes, is this direct from their site or something special? Just added another couple of episodes and they worked fine, went back and refreshed the above 2 and they have now worked Nothing has changed for me here since i tried yeasterday Does Emby used a cached version of tvdb? Edited July 29, 2017 by paulsalter
Luke 42080 Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 Yes it is direct from their site, and we only cache the zip for up to 24 hours. The zip i attached for you I downloaded direct from their site. It looks to me like it was just running behind, perhaps due to caching on their side but i'm really not sure. You could always create a topic in their community to find out why this might happen.
