Doozer 2 Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 I have a new Nvidia Shield with the Emby app installed. I ripped my Blu-rays to pass-through MKV which play fine. However, there is a problem with my DVD's ripped to pass-through MKV. When trying to play the screen flickers a bit then returns to the movie information screen. The same DVD movies play fine in Emby Theater and the web. The Dashboard on the Emby sever shows them as direct playing only momentarily.

Doozer 2 Posted July 26, 2017 Author Posted July 26, 2017 I sent the log from the Android TV app at 11:48 pacfic standard time. The name of the user logged in is VMC and I tried to play an episode of the Jetsons called Rosie the Robot.

ebr 16170 Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 Yep. VLC thinks the item is over before it even starts. I believe the beta would play this properly.
