docker for mac not working

I'm using docker for mac and created an emby server and most of the stuff are working except the DLNA. Before using docker, i was using the native mac version and it was working. Looking through the logs, i found out that emby is broadcasting to the docker network instead of my actual lan 192.168.x.x

 

Info Dlna: Registering publisher for urn:schemas-upnp-org:device:MediaServer:1 on 172.20.0.2

 

From docker github issues, it's due to docker creating a linux vm under the hood and net=host mode doesn't work. 

 

From what i've tested & understood so far, it seems like all docker except for linux OS will not have DLNA capabilities, am i right?

This isn't supported. We have not tested the docker release with Mac and don't have any plans to so long as see have the native Mac version.
