arche 177 Posted July 24, 2017 Posted July 24, 2017 After the latest server update (3.2.26.0), I am adding a new TV Show and it will not pull the metadata. If I try to use the "Identify" menu option, I put in the ID whether it be IMDB or TheTVDB, the circle just spins and will not pull the info. I have restarted the server and still same results, also tried different browsers. This seems to happen with both Movies and TV Shows. Let me know if you need something. Thanks

Just show empty images and now season or episode info. Tried the identify option and put in the ID of the show, just shows a spinning circle and will not update the information. arche 177 Posted July 24, 2017 Author Posted July 24, 2017 I thought I did? I just tried adding a new TV Show to my TV folder. Server auto scanned and showed only the name of the file. It will not pull the metadata from IMDB or TheTVDB, if I go into the TV show section and hit the three dots menu and use identify, it gives me a choice of putting in the information to search for the metadata information. If I put in the ID of the specific show or even movie, there is a circle that will spin like it is search, but will never come up with any results, thus I can add whatever I want, but no images or information pertaining to the TV Show or Movie will pull to the server from IMDB or The TheTVDB. Not really sure how else to explain this, trying to add a new show will work fine, but will not pull the metadata information automatically or manually.

Right now I just tried adding cold case, when that didn't work, I just tried identifying any TV show that I already have on the server, it will not bring back a result in the search feature of the Identify option. If I try and Identify a movie that is already on the server, it will not return a search result. This has all been within the last hour. For IMDB for example, just the cold case show I entered tt0368479 in the the identify/search and for TheTVDB I entered 72167. I did not enter both in at the same time, when one failed to return a result, I tried the other one.

Only had utorrent open which I closed. Could this be Avira screwing with things, I know at one time it was screwing with Plex.

Luke 42081 Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 Something is causing the scanning and refreshing functions to get stuck inside that folder. try moving all the video files out. you're going to need to restart the server because the library scan is currently stuck in that series folder. but once restarted, then see how the refresh goes when there are no video files.
dansblackcat 37 Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 I think I was having a similar issue. I checked the "save artwork and metadata into media folders" option and the issue went away.
