Only one Show no episodes play, All other shows & movies fine

Hi,

 

First time posting, long time user of Emby.

 

So this started just today. No changes to my setup as far as I know and I have been able to play other files fine before this, and still can. This is a problem that happens regardless of device (DNLA, Chromecast, web client) so it appears to be server-side. This show has had no issues in the past and I've been able to play these videos in the past.

 

Basically, the player will not play any file related to one show in particular . Every other show is fine and no issues with any movies I have. I really don't have any more information beyond (and this is really hard to describe) but the "now playing" controls at the bottom of the controlling device (google chrome casting emby on the desktop, or the mobile app) 'flashes' up and then it collapses again repeatedly. When I check the server dashboard it appears it's trying to play any of the episodes of that show. I have checked the video files locally and no issues running them with an external player on the computer acting as server.

 

I am relatively good at troubleshooting this kind of stuff, but I really have no business trying to interpret the log too well. Obviously due to the ambuigiuty of the issue I haven't found any posts related to this issue anywhere else.

 

I appreciate any help I can get and I'll try anything you throw at me.

Hey just a quick update: after updating my ffmpeg to the latest build the problem was resolved! Well, more like side-stepped, but nonetheless thank you for your willingness to help. Feel free to let me know if you see a fancier reason for it to work now :3
