khodges747 55 Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 For some reason my library is corrupt. The server won't scan past 69.4% even if I leave it for hours. It seems that one folder is the only one impacted. I don't want to remove that folder from the library because it's nested in another much larger folder containing nearly all my movies, and removing that larger folder and rescanning it will lose all my custom metadata. A lot of the movies in that folder show no artwork or metadata in Emby Theater, but if I click on Edit Info I can see that the correct file is referenced, and the file will play. So far I have tried all the usual things: Restart PC Restart MB Restart Emby Theater Replace current library.db with a backup from last week (very surprising to me that this didn't work) Run the Clean database task (multiple times). Any ideas?
khodges747 55 Posted July 22, 2017 Author Posted July 22, 2017 Hi Luke, Because a scan usually takes 1 to 10 minutes on my machine, and now it goes to 69.4% and stays there for well over an hour, without moving even another 0.1%. But I gather from your question you think I should wait longer, so I started a new scan and will get back to you after a couple more hours.
