Library does not updated after file added

My library is not updating after a tv show is added. I have tried installing and reinstalling and the initial library scan works but it doesn't update after. I have emby installed on a windows 7 PC

I use sonarr to download shows. After downloading sonarr sends a notification to emby that a show has been downloaded. I can see the show in folders but it doesnt show up on the emby dashboard or in kodi.

He's using the sonarr notification so he doesn't need the real-time monitor.

 

Where are you looking for the episode in the emby server dashboard?

Yes, multiple times. I just did a fresh re-install yesterday but on my old setup the episodes would sometimes show up in my library a day or two later.

can you show us a screenshot of the actual folders on your drive so that we can see the files in the folder? and then can you show the corresponding screen in Emby so that we can compare? thanks !
