pir8radio 1312 Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 I believe I have requested this in the past, It didn't get much traction if I recall correctly.. But I figured I would try again.... I'm looking for a feature added to the Emby Theater client to allow local intros to be played prior to the movie playing... I understand theater mode within emby offers a similar feature.... But If I put an intro in emby its not limited to my own home theater, it is exposed to all clients. I don't want other users to be able to see my intro, and likewise they may want a custom intro of their own on their home theater... So while the theater mode is handy it doesn't address different home theaters that want client specific intros. 1
Jack Burton 98 Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 Couldn't you just disable cinema mode for all your users and keep it on your own?

Guest asrequested Posted July 11, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017 (edited) So, the option for them to put an intro in their user profile/settings? Having the intro directly in a local folder would bypass the server. Ostensibly allowing you to watch any movie in the guise of an intro. Having an option in their use profile would be better, I would think. Edited July 11, 2017 by Doofus
