Heinrich 1 Posted July 5, 2017 Posted July 5, 2017 Hello - I noticed I didn't automatically install 3.20 from 3.15. I ran the wizard and upgraded to 3.20. It required database resets on the clients which I thought was strange. Same from 3.20 to 3.22. Except during a server reboot it resets back to 3.15. Then clients reset all their artwork. And then when i upgrade it re-grabs all the artwork. It's an unpleasant cycle. if I just uninstall everything and reboot and install from scratch, how do I keep my box set and other manual metadata tweaks such as sorting?

Heinrich 1 Posted July 5, 2017 Author Posted July 5, 2017 Yeah it's crazy I know. It's WHS 2011 and I'm not restoring it, it just happens on reboot. It gave me an error once about the backup directory not being clear or something like that. I also made a mistake when I did the upgrade when I was multitasking and actually changed the user name to the machine name with 3.20 and then back with 3.22. It would probably take a lot of time to figure out WTF so i just want to clean everything off and reinstall Emby from scratch. But how do I save the metadata tweaks like sorting and collections?
Luke 42080 Posted July 5, 2017 Posted July 5, 2017 Sounds to me like maybe you have two installations, and the other one is the one that is running on reboot.
