I moved a home movie out of the movies folder but I cannot remove the thumbnail image in the movies folder. It appears that the metadata doesn't update that a folder is not longer there.

I have rescanned my library. I have tried to reset metadata in the advanced section. It says it is queued but doesn't seem to do anything. Thank you guys for the response. Hopefully, you will have additional ideas.

Hopefully, you will have additional ideas. You have to give the server time, this doesn't happen instantly unless you have relatively no data.
Luke 42085 Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 The library scan should have been enough to remove it though, so this isn't normal. Are you sure the scan completed? What happens if you click on the deleted title and try to play it?

Jinks 0 Posted July 2, 2017 Author Posted July 2, 2017 I guess there is something wrong with my setup then. The following is what I did. I moved the home movie out of the movies folder into another folder I created for home movies. I pointed Emby to the new home movie folder and it picked that up fine. The problem is that it doesn't remove it from its old location. It stays in movies with no apparent way to remove it. I have refreshed many times, waited multiple days, etc. The home movie is Misty & Shasta. When I click on it the folder opens and gives the option to play the home movie but it hangs at the multi color spinning circle. I just tried to open it at its real location (home movie folder) and it did not open either. It did open in the past. Not sure what is happening with that. One step at a time I guess.

I signed up for one of the guide services. I have added the guide service and pointed it at my hd homerun prime but I don't get anything. I don't even see the guide data.
