khodges747 55 Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 I noticed yesterday that in Theater's Edit Info option I can not input the letter I (capital i). I can type any character, except the capital I. I can cut and paste "I" from somewhere else on that screen, but not input it directly. When I hit Shift-I on my keyboard the cursor just sits there. I just noticed that if I turn on CapsLock it works. So it's only the shift key plus i combination that doesn't work. I tried it on my other machine with the same results. I've done all the usual troubleshooting, like restarting Theater, rebooting the PC, inputting "I" into other apps, etc. It's not my PC or keyboard, it's something in Theater. Has anyone else noticed this?
Deathsquirrel 745 Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 No, I'm not having that issue. Is this the MS Store version of ET or the desktop app and what field are you trying to type in when you get this issue?
khodges747 55 Posted June 29, 2017 Author Posted June 29, 2017 Odd that it's not universal. It's the desktop app, version 2.7.9. It happens in all the text fields.
Luke 42078 Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 Seems to be OK here in my testing, but will keep an eye out for it. thanks.
Guest asrequested Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 Could that be related to the stats? The keyboard shortcut is shift+i. Is there any prep in the release for stats?
Luke 42078 Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 yes that is probably it. we'll have to use something with control rather than shift. thanks.
khodges747 55 Posted July 1, 2017 Author Posted July 1, 2017 As of this morning shift+i results in a big, beautiful uppercase I in the Edit Info fields. Thanks.
