HDHomerun Channel Logos

Hi, 

 

Is there a reason why Emby isn't pull the channel logos from the device itself? It's really hard to locate channels base on numbers and there is no way in hell I am going to sit down and put back logos on all these channels again, MANUALLY.

To my knowledge hdhomerun does not expose them for other applications to utilize.

If you aren't willing to do it manually, the small fee per year is totally worth it.  I subscribe myself.  It's just easier.

I am already paying guide subscription from Silicondust. I supported mc2xml. I paid for Emby Premiere. It seems like at the end I am the only one spending? How about Emby picks up the tab for premiere users.

You could look into zap2xml. That might have an option to grab channel icons

Zap2XML does have grab channel icons option, if available.

 

The default is NOT to download, but you can add the argument to create a Channel Icons Directory. I don't recall the quality being all that great.
