Unable to play HEVC on Shield TV

So I attempted to play a couple video files today and would only have audio with a black screen. Turns out I have a couple HEVC files. Now they play fine on the web player and with Emby Theater. Does anyone know if there's anything I need to do to make the Shield play these files?

Are you sure that's relevant? This topic is about a failure to play.

Only as they are both HEVC related.
