LLDaLastDon 4 Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 (edited) I have a few movies that have multiple resolutions in the movie folder that Emby recognizes. One is 1080p and the other is 3D. Is there a way to select the 3d version to play instead of the 1080p version from the FireTv app as well as Chromecast? I can't seem to figure out how to play the 3D version. Solution Luke 42078 Posted June 25, 2017 Solution Posted June 25, 2017 Hi, currently emby will automatically select the most efficient version for the device you're playing from. in the future we intend to improve this and allow you to manually select it. for now you would just have to separate them if that's what you want to do. thanks ! 2
ebr 16174 Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 To separate them, you would need to create them as two separate movies in your library. Will the Fire TV properly feed the 3D version to your TV?
LLDaLastDon 4 Posted June 27, 2017 Author Posted June 27, 2017 When I separate them it works fine on the firetv. I actually returned Chromecast ultra and replaced it with a roku ultra. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
