nyplayer 90 Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 I noticed that if you have back to back recordings on the same channel with 1 minute before and 1 minute after it uses 2 Tuners of the HDHomerun Prime .. is this going to change in the future ... NEXTPVR and HDHRDVR use only 1 tuner and they keep the padding on both recordings.
Luke 42080 Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 Actually we are able to do this using only one tuner as well.

I have HDHomeRun Connect devices and shared tuner recording and streaming is working with Emby Live TV. I have 2 minutes pre and 3 minutes post padding on all recordings and only use one tuner as recordings move from one to the other on the same channel. This link should show you what firmware version you are on. http://my.hdhomerun.com/ This link has the latest firmware versions for Windows, WIndows 10 app, Mac, Android and NAS solutions. https://forum.silicondust.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=119&t=20613&sid=5ab3e4ec8d9d90ee76e75978ba673355

nyplayer 90 Posted June 25, 2017 Author Posted June 25, 2017 (edited) I am on the latest as I also beta test the HDHRDVR .... I will monitor again and post the server logs ... as it appears to use more than 1 Prime tuner using the EMBY beta. You can tell by my image of the HDHR Monitor it used 2 tuners. nyplayer 90 Posted June 25, 2017 Author Posted June 25, 2017 It is looking good ... works as designed... must have been a hiccup somewhere ... Sorry for the trouble.
