Library scan fails, doesn't stop, server restart fails

Hello Guys,

i know, its 3 problems in one topic but they occure right after each other in a line.

 

I did freshly set up Emby Server in my OpenMediaVault and there as a docker container.

Then i added my librarys and started the scan.

It stuck for hours at 14,6%.

So i decided to click "stop" and wanted to restart the scan. But the "stopping" didnt disappear.

Even in scheduled tasks i could not restart the scan because its "stopping" there too.

After a while i decided to restart the emby server and clickt at "restart" at the main server dashboard page.

The gui dissappeared and i got a 404 error when refreshing.

After waiting like 25 minutes i had to restart the docker container.

 

What happend here?

 

I will retry the whole procedure and attach the logs here.

One short which i think contains the relevant information and one long which has a lot more but ends the same.

Try removing the kodi sync queue plugin. Your issues are all because of the library scan. You couldn't shut down because the server couldn't stop the scan after it got stuck. This should be resolved for the next release.

 

Workaround is removing any collections (boxsets) and playlists.
