Custom Channels - A Virtual TV Channel Experience

I think it would be awesome if we could create our own "Channels" and put different TV shows in there to randomly play.

 

For example:  I would want to create a Sitcom channel and add Big Bang Theory, IASIP, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, etc, then go play the channel and it will randomly play episodes from these series.  Maybe even mimic some actual TV channels and play 2 random episodes of IASIP, then 2 random episodes of Big Bang Theory, and so on.

 

Had a thought while working from home today and wanting to turn on some background noise and not wanting to shuffle through just episodes of Modern Family.

I have thousands of bumpers, commericals, etc.  Organized by date, year, month.  I want to evenutally create something that is dvr for the past 20 years for each channel.  So you can watch cartoon network august 10, 1995 and it will hav the shows/commercials, etc in order
