Share a read-only access to local clients in the same network?

Is there anyway to do this?

I need to share emby via browsers in the same network..

 

Guest mode still requires email access, what i need is some kind of open but limited read-only access to emby server.

You can create Emby users on your server with no password. In this situation they would just need to click the username on the login screen.

How do we organize the menus that appear on client?

e.g i want the main menu to show latest movies, etc

Is the settings saved on client side or server side?

 

Edit : i just tested organizing the menus

it's kinda weird because clients can edit each other..

 

is there anyway to lock down the menu from server side?

The settings are tied to the Emby user account, not the device, so you'd just have to create more accounts if you need different settings.
