kaylin4u 0 Posted June 16, 2017 Posted June 16, 2017 I can perform a refresh, then it will show the seasons for about a day (or until the next day when the system scans the library). But the next day, the series is marked as watched and no seasons are listed. I can't find anything in the log files. I've attached my screen shots.
Luke 42086 Posted June 16, 2017 Posted June 16, 2017 What are the contents of the season folders? Can you show some of those? thanks.
kaylin4u 0 Posted June 21, 2017 Author Posted June 21, 2017 Luke, FIgured it out. See, I was placing my Special episodes for specific seasons in the same folder as the seasons, which I believe kept the library endlessly adding those episodes. Every once in a while, I would see a new episode pop up on my notifications. So, what I did is searched these forums on how to list TV Special Episodes here: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/674-Media-Files-&-Folders-Structure So, I created "Season 0" folder, named the specials file names accordingly and placed them into that folder. Now all my "Specials" are listed and all my seasons are listed as they should. All is working now!
Luke 42086 Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Thanks for the info. I will test this out because obviously we still want the episodes to at least show up. Thanks.
Happy2Play 9785 Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Only issue I would see is your specials not displaying with a fix. But it actually may only be your naming scheme as a test does you structure work with a proper naming scheme (0x01) for specials? unsupported S03.Special01 https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/TV%20naming
kaylin4u 0 Posted June 23, 2017 Author Posted June 23, 2017 Once I renamed them according to the structure in the link above, I had to issues. So it must how I named them originally.
