pju 10 Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 I'm planning to move away from the old windows 8 Emby app on my Microsoft Lumia 950 phone. And would love to use Emby Theater - but am facing a number of problems.I have attached some screen shots hopefully showing some of it. The phone control bar is not respected. Until windows 10 windows phones only had physical control buttons. But now they are placed in a bar in the bottom of the screen. Emby Theater seems not to cater for this: for instance by removing the bar or adapting to the usable part of the screen. This problem is present both when using the menus and playing movies. The left side quick jump chars can be seen and used in portrait mode. But only chars from H to Y. At least I have not found out how to scroll the list. In landscape mode the list is hidden under the control bar. Information text (movie or actor) is not scaled or horizontally scrollable when in portrait mode. Only the left part is shown. I can live with not being able to use Emby Theater in portrait mode if that is by design. But the control bar overlay makes it very difficult to use the landscape mode.Sorry if this has been raised and answered before - but I have not been able to find it in the forum.
Luke 42078 Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Hi, yes the app is primarily designed for larger screen usage and still has a ways to go on mobile devices. Ultimately when all is said and done the mobile layout will be exactly like what you see in the mobile android and ios app.
pju 10 Posted June 14, 2017 Author Posted June 14, 2017 Thanks for the fast answer - as always, Luke It sounds like I just should lean back and wait for the good things to come. I'll do that
