FR: Server - Anime Media Type

It would be great if we hade a Anime folder type in MB3 Server I am sure I am not the only one that has a extensive anime collection and it would make it easier to manage.

How would a new Media Type make it easier to manage over the Anime Data Provider already provided?

Well the core is going to get more anime friendly one way or another. With the metadata changes introduced, the plugin data providers no longer have the freedom to do some of the things the plugin was doing before. There is a backdoor but it's an undesirable one. So there's going to have to be a way for users to prioritize anime data providers over regular ones for certain content.

Well with the media type I hope we can get a collective view like we have for Movies, TV Shows & Music but just for Anime in the browser. It will be easier to assign data providers just for anime content and I hope that some where in there we will gat absolute numbering and Auto-Organize to be able to move the files with seperate naming scheme.

Yeah. I had a custom plugin just to handle the episode number detection and change the series name to the main title listed in anidb. But since the last update it won't work anymore. I'll just wait for the core changes to see what I'll need to change.
