Luke 42085 Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 We'll resolve the .cue issue for the next release, thanks !
Masterz 2 Posted June 13, 2017 Author Posted June 13, 2017 Just removed CUE file and issued Refresh for album. Track info still persists in FLAC file (see originally attached metaflac.txt, generated by metaflac), * but no tracks appears in GUI - see picture.
Luke 42085 Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Yea we haven't added support for that yet, sorry. It's something we can consider for a future update, thanks.
Masterz 2 Posted June 13, 2017 Author Posted June 13, 2017 Thanx. Will wait for multi-track FLAC file support, if I can name dat feature so. Look like it is become popular to put whole disc in one FLAC file. With best wishes, Igors M.
Luke 42085 Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 I don't see why, it just makes things more difficult. Now, instead of having it just work out of the box, you have to go to the developers of all your favorite music software and get them to support it before it will work again.
bhelm 7 Posted November 10, 2017 Posted November 10, 2017 iam also here for the multi-track flac file support i have some albums in my collection where emby cannot detect the artist because it is only in the cue sheet. i guess the reason for doing multi-track flac files is that you can convert them back to wav and burn them on CD. The result will then be exactly like the original medium with the same gap between songs.
Beaker1966 3 Posted January 3, 2020 Posted January 3, 2020 Over 2 year on.. Are we still waiting for cue file support?
Luke 42085 Posted January 3, 2020 Posted January 3, 2020 Over 2 year on.. Are we still waiting for cue file support? Hi @@Beaker1966, yes. User demand for this has been lighter than other feature requests so this has not been an area we've looked at yet.
