I updated to the latest dll file and this allowed the tasks to actually run. However, when I go through any of my shows they do not show anything.

Could you let me know what to check next?

That's a very old interface there.  You probably need to clear your browser cache.

It should look like this now.

Estoy ejecutando el plugin, y en todos los resultados me da que la el valor "Has intro" False..Eso si, lo estoy ejecutando en Emby Server 4.6.4.0..

I think you can only run this plugin in the beta Emby server.

The plugin is dependent on the 'Croma' print function within ffmpeg.

The latest emby Windows beta has the required version, but this functionality was also included with earlier linux/other os builds.

If you can run the emby 'ffmpeg' executable (no arguments) from a command line - then look for the version below or higher and it should contain the function you need.

So, I decided to start from scratch on this one again. I removed \programdata\data\titlesequence.db and \programdata\plugins\introskip.dll. I found the introskip.dll was also within \system\plugins\introskip.dll and removed this as well. I took the new introskip.dll and dropped in \programdata\plugins and ended up with the same error when I first set this up. When I dropped the new introskip.dll under \system\plugins the task sequences would kick off. However, even though the tasks run I still never get any data. My titlesequence.db is only 20KB.

I never see a log entry for title sequence task complete and it shows that it only runs for 2 seconds in scheduled tasks

 

I did see that windows defender does not like this even when I exclude the whole emby folder. If I found out more info on this I will share. When I disabled windows defender and cranked this up to 8 it seems to knock it out under 5 mins with my machine.

No I'm running v4.6.4.0. I do run the portable version so I can install where I want on the drive.

Just to let you all know, that this is really a testing thread, we want to have the most stable release possible when it launches. 
 

Devolopment and beta testing, which may require to run beta versions of the server and also re-running fingerprint and detection tasks again in order for us to improve.

although it’s pretty god damn awesome as it is now... we are hoping to finalise it for main stream release and we need you guys as testers.

So, my initial Audio Fingerprinting finished while I was sleeping last night, after about 36 hours or so. However, as I was asleep and the installation had set up Audio Fingerprinting as a run-every-24-hours scheduled task, it is now running again, currently on 10.2%. Do I let it finish running before attempting anything else? I've probably added less than 10 new episodes since the initial scan started.

Maybe the installation should not set any scheduled tasks, and that should be added manually once the initial large scan has completed?

Thank you, this looks to be what the issue was. The DB is 16MB and growing.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure we can have an empty field in the schedule part of the scheduled task.

You can remove the schedule, but the code expects something there.

If fingerprinting is running again, it should skip over items that already have the data, so it should be quick and painless.

But a log would be very helpful.

It was taking a long time, 2 time round. I've stopped the process, i noticed that the dll should be owned by Emby, which I hadn't set, so I've now set that. Restarted Emby...but it has all the shows, but hasn't detected any titles.

I've also tried to find the  titlesequence.db file, but I cannot find anywhere. There is no data directory on my NAS either. Hmmm. Now that I've changed the dll permission, I'll try running again.

Okay kaj, give me a moment to check your log. 

It is possible that the final calculation for the task progress bar over shoots 100% by 7. Simply because we are multitasking. 

But we have to make sure that it's accessing the database properly.
