So I don't need to rename or delete the *.db with the latest version just posted?

Better delete the one it created just to be sure it is the updated table.

Not sure if this was done correctly @chef

I stayed with the same plugin (didn't install any new version)

Restarted the Emby server

Screenshot_2.jpg.1ea7d65e9db090df240bbda0f73174d3.jpg

Where would I pull the required information that would be needed to compare? (out of the logs or ?)

Screenshot_3.jpg.5f77781e9404efe0c7f799c2f515ad9c.jpg

Also when I go into the plugin and advance setting it wont allow me to scroll down to see or access the other settings at the bottom of the page. (also I have tried opening the plugin in both Chrome and Microsoft edge and both are the same)

Screenshot_1.thumb.jpg.0ade05acda805020748e521a62ea6b00.jpg

Will run both the fingerprinting and detection again as I added new episodes for a couple of shows... thanks for your help in getting this done.

I will fix the dialog. I must have left out the scrollY class. Nice catch!

You would first run the fingerprinting task under scheduled tasks.

I would install the most recent version of the plugin, because the database changed.

Chef I wanted to make sure I'm deleting the correct db.

I downloaded the plugin off of page 27 and I was looking at the instructions and noticed that there was a (s) at the end of your posted path.

Screenshot_2.thumb.jpg.62c22ee4fc61bccc88bd0ea219a87aeb.jpg

On my nas the path I found was here

Screenshot_1.jpg.3fed2e3f0d124f06e754427be370eda5.jpg

So do we think this is the correct db so that I may continue?

Yes that is the file to remove. Sorry.

You'll have to shut down the server, remove it, and then start the server back up. 😬

There is an endpoint created "EpisodeTitleSeqeunce". You can request that and send in the episode InternalId. This will return an object.

First you would check "HasSequence" to be true. Then look at "TitleSequenceStart" to know when to show a button,

and "TitleSequenceEnd" to know where in the stream the button should skip to.

Not all episode have sequences. This is because the sequence is under 10 seconds, and we ignore them, or they change their intros per episode and we can't find them.

The plugin table is editable. So if we collect improper data, then it can be altered.

Currently our results are about 80-90% reliable. 🙂

I got it! I know how to properly update the database. Why didn't I think of this before!

	    var config = Plugin.Instance.Configuration;
            if(config.Version < CurrentVersion)
            {
                Repository.CreateColumn("Processed", "TEXT");
                Plugin.Instance.Configuration.Version = CurrentVersion;
                Plugin.Instance.UpdateConfiguration(config);
                Plugin.Instance.SaveConfiguration();
            }

1. In the plugin configuration xml we save a version number.

2. Check it and add the table column as needed.

3. Increment the Version number.

4. Reload the Repo with the new values

I will test this.

Thank goodness. I thought I had messed things up with the database change.

BTW, since it took so long for the intro sequence detection the fingerprinting ran again on schedule but since there was nothing new it looks like it to 0 seconds to run.

@Sammy can you run the fingerprinting task again.

Don't  remove anything,  just run the task.

Some episodes seem to have been  missed during fingerprinting.

Not sure why... yet.

One other thing.

If the fingerprinting task is running, and the title sequence task kicks off, the title sequence task will stop untill the fingerprint task is complete.

This also happens the other way around.

The two tasks will never over lap each other.

My fingerprint task was successfully but the detection is only at 8.4% and taking forever.

But I will share results when completed... I had a lot of true results before I installed the new plugin hopefully will the same.

@Sammy This will handle adding the extra row.

I'm looking at your log, and the database is still erring on load.

This will fix that.

Would you like to post a log. Or pm me a log if that is better for you.  The task does take a while, but just to make sure...

I downloaded this version to test the whole whing.
When I start the scan, nothing happens and it says it took 0 seconds.
Do I have to pay attention to anything else or just install the plugin?

If running Windows, from my latest understanding, you also need a version of ffmpeg that includes the chroma-print functionality - this will be in the next version of the official Beta - after which, this plugin should then work ok.

I use Linux Ubuntu 20.04…

Do i have to use the latest beta that the plugin will work?

Probably best to wait for @chef as I'm now having issues with the sequence detection not working - as has been posted above.

edit - it was me experimenting with lowering the 10 sec value to 5 to try and catch some small intro's - putting it back to 10 and everything is good again.

I'll continue to experiment .. so far results have been 100% detection rate for me but that's only on 5 test shows/5 seasons ... but looking good.

Fingerprinting is pretty fast - but detection is 'slow' (set to 1 show at a time) but tbh, I've no idea what is involved here - cpu is sitting pretty much idle while the task is running - so it could be throttling itself to not kill the cpu ?
