Emby for WMC can'f find server?

Hi All,

 

We are having an issue and i'm sure it's server related, when I fire up the server with win 7 (Windows media center) the server seems to load  Server Version 3.2.19.0 although it does seem to freeze for around 10 seconds then finishes loading, but the Emby for WMC  says " cannot find server" when I open the server it doesn't find our in house (local ip) it just has: Running on http port 8096, and https port 8920 where the IP address should be, but it has: Remote (WAN) access:http://58.108.188.28:8096 the modem or internet has not changed (same provider, and modem we have had for the last 3 years.

 

Is there anything I need to do?

Hi.  Your remote address is inaccessible as well but I would still remove it from this post.

 

This sounds like a firewall or network configuration issue.

 

Can you get to the dashboard on the same machine (using localhost)?  What is the IP address of the server machine?
