Visual c++ 2015 runtime install

Hi every time I run ET for desktop it asks me to install visual c++ 2015 runtime, I reinstalled theatre again hoping that this would solve the issue but no luck.

 

Plus is there any update on the shortcut issue?

Whoops!!!. I forgot to mention that I clicked on the runtime message to install it and emby theatre started up. The thing is that this happens every time I run emby theatre.

Just checked I don't have have runtime 2015 installed, what I don't understand is that emby theatre ran ok when I clicked on the message.

it probably failed to launch the installer and didn't give you an error message.  i will check that but just install the runtime from the microsoft website.

yeah i got this same problem yesterday too when I re-installed Win10...then I re-installed again because I updated my WDS server with the latest Windows image.  Each time this occurred with afresh install so not sure this is just an isolated occurance.

When I looked up on it, there is an issue with c++ 2015 but am not sure of the details though.
