Losing Remote Control

If I minimize or otherwise (Alt Tab) switch ET to another window or desktop when I come back to ET mpv I lose control with the remote. I have to exit what is playing and then Resume to get control back. On the overlay on the bottom of the screen the > and || button disappear as well, until I exit and resume. Control via the keyboard is still there where clicking the screen starts and pauses the playback in succession. Also, at times, I see the taskbar exposed too. It seems that ET loses focus whenever I change it.

 

What log should I post? There's no ET log. Will this show up in the Server Log?
