paulkoan 0 Posted June 7, 2017 Posted June 7, 2017 I am trying out the Emby Kodi addon, I have tried stable, beta, and public testing. All of them fail to sync. I see this in the log: 22:16:21.818 565.133728 T:1142010800 NOTICE: EMBY.database -> closing: /home/xbian/.kodi/userdata/Database/MyVideos107.db - 1856688304 22:16:21.819 565.135071 T:1142010800 NOTICE: EMBY.database -> ERROR:: Type: <class 'sqlite3.OperationalError'> Value: no such table: tag My kodi media centers share a MySQL database currently, so the database isn't in that sqlite3 database. Is this an unsupported setup for Emby? If so, how would I migrate?
paulkoan 0 Posted June 10, 2017 Author Posted June 10, 2017 OK, so I understand that MySQL is going to be unnecessary after migrating to Emby, however right now, that is where the watched status of everything is. I know I can just remove advancedsettings.xml and will then be using a local database, but is there a way to get Emby to get the initial sync from mysql?
Angelblue05 4132 Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 (edited) No. I suggest using trakt to back up and restore your watch status. Otherwise, I believe you can possibly use Kodi to back up your watch status to nfo. Then in Emby, it should pick it up from the nfo. Edited June 10, 2017 by Angelblue05
paulkoan 0 Posted June 12, 2017 Author Posted June 12, 2017 I read that nfo watched status needs to be enabled in Metadata Services, but for the life of me I cannot find the Emby settings where you say what metadata sources it should use. Has it gone in the latest version?
Angelblue05 4132 Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 (edited) When you select your library in the emby dashboard, you'll find the menu at the top, metadata. I don't know? What is your version number? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited June 12, 2017 by Angelblue05
