Streaming video to Smart TV and nothing plays: just a black screen

Just two hours ago, playing a video from the PC (or from Emby mobile app) to the Smart TV worked just fine.
Now, all of a sudden, it doesn't work anymore: when I hit play, the TV goes black and gets ready to stream, but it never starts. The screen remains black.

TV: Sony Bravia 2013 (KDL-42W655A)

Emby server: Version 3.2.19.0
Server and transcode log files attached below.

Transcode configuration for my TV is the following:

Note: I have 2 Video entries. I added the one for the "Container: mkv" because without it, the remote control didn't work as expected: pause, FF and rewind would not work. After adding that entry, it worked as a charm, so that shouldn't be the problem here.

In the interim between it worked and it stopped working, the only thing I changed was some options in how the subtitles were downloaded and I linked to my OpenSubtitles account for subtitles to be downloaded automatically.

Nothing else was changed that I can recall. And now it doesn't work. It doesn't work when playing from the TV itself, from the mobile app or from the PC.

Any ideas?

UPDATE

***************

I was using Emby mobile app to try to play a movie. It didn't work as expected. But as soon as I turned Subtitles OFF, it started playing the movie (without subtitles, of course). I had exact same issue using Plex (that's why I stopped using it :)) And now it happens with Emby which makes me think that it is some issue with the TV and subtitles. It's strange that it used to to work with subtitles and all of a sudden it stopped working. Why?? Anyone????

Found the solution to my problem:

In the Transcoding section, the option "Enable M2ts mode" for some reason got unchecked. After checking it again, it started playing the videos again, and with subtitles.

Not a clue what that option is for, but it did the trick for me.

Interesting, thanks for the info. Just FYI - that setting is on by default for Sony models so you probably just inadvertently unchecked it at some point. Glad it is working again.

Also be aware, your transcoding profile for mkv will not have any effect. There can only be one video transcode profile, and that is the .ts one that is listed above. So I think  you probably just want to delete your entire profile and use the built-in one.

Thanks Luke.

The reason why I added another video transcode profile was to see if I could get the remote control work correctly.
Using the built-in profile, when I play a video (using the mobile app, the PC or the TV remote control), if I hit "Pause" and then I hit "Play" again, the video just stops saying "Video cannot be played".
And if I try to FF or rewind, the video just freezes.

So basically, I cannot get pause, FF and rewind to work.
