Xbox controller controls Emby when not focused

Hi there! I've noticed that when I am using Emby Theater v2.7.9, my Xbox controller for Windows will always control Emby, even when I am focused on another window. Emby would be buried behind 10 windows and whatever I do with the controller still controls Emby. 

 

I love that I can sit back and use the controller to surf Emby, but sometimes I want to do other things too It would be really handy to use Theater to watch shows while I play video games sometimes. Not a huge deal, but thought I would let you guys know

this is a defect coming from a third party component that we are using. I have reported it to them and we are looking at workarounds we can employ in the meantime. thanks !

I figured it had to be some components just fighting with each other. Thank you for the fast response!

We're going to be updating to electron 3.0 soon, which also contains an updated Chromium. That may help with this. Thanks.

Nothing like going to play a game of Rocket League and the songs start changing and pausing/playing constantly. All because I forgot to minimize my browser window with Emby in it.

The original post was not about Emby within a browser, it was for Emby theater. Usually a good idea to create new threads rather than necro a 2 year old thread, but oh well. Hope you can get some help with your problem.

This happens on Emby Theater as well. I just prefer to use Web.
