liquidox 0 Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 I have my "FFmpeg version" set to System installed version (otherwise HW transcoding does not work for me). When I restart Emby, it reverts this setting to the "custom" FFmpeg @ /var/lib/emby-server/ffmpeg/20170308/ffmpeg Quite annoying! Anything I can do? Am running 3.2.19.
Luke 42086 Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Can you please attach the emby server log? you can learn how to do that here: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/739-how-to-report-a-problem/ Thanks !

Sure, just did a fresh restart, ffmpeg back to custom version as mentioned in OP. https://gist.githubusercontent.com/anonymous/2796ba7cb43704db2d2e716d87f479b4/raw/0f97c6657a6dfac89adeb2eff8227622f0ff5020/gistfile1.txt
blj 3 Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Is this resolved? I have this problem on my debian (openmediavault) with emby server Version 3.2.25.0

blj 3 Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 Hi, sorry i didn't posted this earlier. It was me who didn't understand the setting in trancoding. I had the understanding that the "system installed" was my custom installed ffmpeg. I got it working now.
