blacktrails 0 Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 Hello, I have an issue where my hard drive says that I have 655 items in my "movies" folder. However, when I go to my Library in the emby web client, it says I have 653 movies. Is there anyway to narrow down which movies I am missing without having to read and search for each individual movie? My file structure is as: F:/Movies/8 Mile/8 Mile.MKV I have enabled debugging logs, and ran a scan. The attached log is the result of the scan.
Luke 42086 Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 Do you have movie collections, and if so, did you turn on grouping movies into collections? Why do you think it has only detected 653?
blacktrails 0 Posted June 2, 2017 Author Posted June 2, 2017 No I do not have Collections enabled. And as you can see, this is why I think there are only 653 movies.
Solution Luke 42086 Posted June 2, 2017 Solution Posted June 2, 2017 Ok, it will probably come down to folder structure of a couple that are different, and/or perhaps a couple are falling into the multi-part naming schemes therefore they are being merged together. What you could possibly do is use the reports section to export your library to a spreadsheet for faster comparison with your folder to see what is missing. Other than that we don't really have anything to help you identify which ones they are. 1

I never new about the reports, and it enabled to me to be able to do a side by side comparison of all the movies. I ended up have 2 empty folders, so that fixed the problem.
