Abobader 3464 Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 This was fix with latest server build. Well done Luke.
GhostRider 49 Posted February 20, 2014 Author Posted February 20, 2014 Maybe the issue is due to combination of things and the way I use mediabrowser 3. 1) I run mediabrowser as a service 2) I use a separate PC to run makemkv and then run meta<browser/> to pull the metadata. I then copy the movie folder with MKV file and metadata (xml files and jpegs) to the server PC running mediabrowser. 3) I then lock the metadata in mediabrowser The movie.xml files look OK to my limited knowledge and the studios work with more than three studios. With more than three genres only the first three are being used in mediabrowser. I have another query re the locking. If I lock at the movie level and then copy a new movie folder across the lock is not inherited and I have to lock the new movie separately. Should the lock be inherited? (Should I start a new thread with more details on this query?)
Abobader 3464 Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 Good day, Yes, starting new thread with new issue is indeed a good idea. My best
GhostRider 49 Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 (edited) Good news is that MB3 server version 3.0.5171.19958. fixes this issue. After rescanning my film library movies with greater than three genres now appear in all the genre categories. Edited February 28, 2014 by GhostRider
