Custom actor metadata not being written to the nfo

Hey, I've been self-adding some actors and such to a few of my movies that haven't pulling metadata down (clips from youtube and such), but something I noticed is that it'll add the genres I select in Emby to each file's .nfo, but it won't add the actors to the .nfo. However, Emby still has the actors I've added in the web interface. Any idea why these aren't writing to the file, and how I can force them to write to the file for all of the videos I've manually adjusted?

In addition, there's this one actress that I keep trying to add but consistently disappears upon saving the file. I've only had this issue with this one actress. I'm assuming if I could clear the system of her name it might work, but I don't really have any idea on how to go about fully cleaning the system of her name.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, what are the contents of one of these nfo's?

Hi, what are the contents of one of these nfo's?

By contents, what exactly do you mean? Just a text dump?

Yes please.

Just an fyi, it's a porn clip. I don't have the most reliable internet, so I've started storing some of these clips in a separate library where it doesn't automatically grab metadata and I add it myself. https://pastebin.com/EnGLWWu2 There's the dump. It should have two actors embedded in the file, as it shows it on the video's page (I censored the image thumbnail in the image). I just added metadata to a decent amount of clips not to long ago as well, and am afraid to restart that computer in fear of losing a lot of that actor metadata since it's not currently stored in each nfo.

@@Happy2Play have you seen this? I cannot reproduce it.

I will test some more but I have to save twice before actors appeared in nfo.  I thought we saw this in another thread?

Everything displays when you add actors initially but doesn't save to nfo.  Then clicking save the second time saves to nfo.

**The save twice may have been for using existing nfo from this topic.  Will have to test something unidentified to see if it requires a double save also.

Tested with a unidentified test file with no metadata and same results.  I can add actor and hit save, they are present in UI but not nfo.  Hit save again and they are present in nfo also now.

This test was in 3.2.19.0.

This is resolved for the next release, thanks.

Cool! Will it automatically save them to NFO for pre-existing files, or do I need to run thru each file again and hit save? In addition, I think you missed the second half of my original post. I've got one actress that just won't save. Specifically their name.

No, it won't do anything retroactively to existing nfo's. It is resolved for new saves going forward.

As far as the other actor goes, what exactly are you doing?

Just manually adding an actress and when i save it, it doesn't even save into the interface. It just disappears.
