Failure to Shut Down Server

So the last 3 or 4 times I've tried to either Shut Down or Restart the Emby Server instance, it has hung with the same log messages showing. The process hangs in my process explorer indefinitely and becomes completely unresponsive. If I try to start a new Emby instance it will show "Info Main: Found a duplicate process. Giving it time to exit."

 

Here's what I see in the log from the server instance that was being shutdown:

The only way to get Emby to start again is to restart my actual machine. Any chance to resolve this?

Same problem on latest Stable. It really sucks having to restart my whole server every time I need to restart Emby.  New log is attached, I was restarting the server because I was trying to manual refresh a series and it was not scanning or picking up any new changes (even though subtitles were added). Thanks for your help.

Do you mean to say, why isn't the shutdown working? I don't know, that's why I'm posting here for help with your software. I thought you would have a better idea than me.

 

The MediaBrowser.ServerApplication.exe stops responding completely and stays locked up. Ending the process from task manager or process hacker, or any other task managing software results in an error. Starting a new instance of Emby Server results in the new log saying:

2017-06-04 15:28:11.2852 Info Main: Found a duplicate process. Giving it time to exit.
2017-06-04 15:28:51.2852 Info Main: The duplicate process did not exit.
2017-06-04 15:28:51.2852 Info Main: Shutting down because another instance of Emby Server is already running.

The only way to end the process is to restart the entire machine.

There is some activity happening after the shutdown there that could be causing it. We'll look into that. thanks.
