Hi Emby Team!

I could't find any way to directly contacting you so I am writing you here. Hope that someone from the team will get to read this.

I am already the owner of a lifetime license for emby premiere. I am interested to buy another one for which I am willing to pay double if it could play mov quick time references, which I need for a personal project. It should work on windows as the paths should be windows valid to a map network drive on a network based storage.

For this the ffmpeg transcoder command line should have the parameter -use_absolute_path 1

Looking forward for your answer. The solution is very easy on your end, I think.

Best regards,

Dan

Question, if it is just a mov file then why doesn't it work already?

its a reference file....  even though it has a .mov extension, they are these strange reference files that are kind of like a playlist file, but not. They reference the media that is stored in a different location.
