dvision 0 Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 Hi Emby Team! I could't find any way to directly contacting you so I am writing you here. Hope that someone from the team will get to read this. I am already the owner of a lifetime license for emby premiere. I am interested to buy another one for which I am willing to pay double if it could play mov quick time references, which I need for a personal project. It should work on windows as the paths should be windows valid to a map network drive on a network based storage. For this the ffmpeg transcoder command line should have the parameter -use_absolute_path 1 Looking forward for your answer. The solution is very easy on your end, I think. Best regards, Dan test seq.mov
Luke 42085 Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 Question, if it is just a mov file then why doesn't it work already?
pir8radio 1312 Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Question, if it is just a mov file then why doesn't it work already? its a reference file.... even though it has a .mov extension, they are these strange reference files that are kind of like a playlist file, but not. They reference the media that is stored in a different location. https://documentation.apple.com/en/finalcutpro/usermanual/index.html#chapter=105%26section=2%26tasks=true
