picture thumbs, make it more appealing!

Hi,

 

A suggestion for the picture thumbnail preview:

In Emby, alle thumbs are displayed in a "landscape" modus

 

 

in Plex, it's much more appealing:

- Thumbs follow the format of the pictures,

- indication of video

- on click plays video (nu subscreen like in emby)

- the layout is more dynamic, etc..

 

Possible to handle this the same way in Emby? This would help me much in migrating to emby..! :-)

Just installed latest release  3.2.19.0

 

Thumbs still appear the same.

Should I do a full rescan of library, or is this not implemented on this release?

I would imagine his main point of the post was to use the original aspect ratio of the images, and that's probably what he was looking for in 3.2.19.0 since you said it would be implemented.
