Trevor68 70 Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Recently MB3 has decided to identify some of my home video MP4's as "Music" and now I have a Music library in the web browser containing these 4 videos. Is there a way to stop this happening, or am I doing something wrong? I don't use or even have any Music Libraries in MB3, just my movies, tv and video libraries.
Luke 42077 Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 did you setup a media folder with the music videos type? that's about the only thing that would cause that.
psykix 97 Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 (edited) I added some PC games to my collection, and it did the same thing. I removed the games and it removed the music collection too :-) I also have no music btw.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited February 15, 2014 by psykix

Are your home videos in a folder of their own, or mixed with other videos? And what "type" of folder is it (there is a specific choice for home videos).
Trevor68 70 Posted February 15, 2014 Author Posted February 15, 2014 its a Library, of the Home Video Type, D:/Videos. Not mixed up. Been there for months no problem, then I added some MP4's the other week and they got identified as music. No I do not have any Folders of the Music Video type either.
Luke 42077 Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 when you click around the music view in the web client, what do you see? does it list any songs or music vidoes?
Trevor68 70 Posted February 15, 2014 Author Posted February 15, 2014 Suggested lists the 5 mp4's, so does songs, everything else is empty.
Luke 42077 Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 can you post a screenshot of the edit page for one of those mp4s? Thanks.
Trevor68 70 Posted February 15, 2014 Author Posted February 15, 2014 (edited) ha you nailed it, I made some MP4's using camstudio, useful for screen captures. I had no idea it also captures the audio as .wav! so yep, MB3 is good at identifying .wav as music if its in a library that its looking at, keep up the good work. :-) They are actually videos about MB3, pretty lame, but i guess I should post them after this.
