fcymk2 2 Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 (edited) When I put a subtitle into the movie folder and then play it immediately, the subtitle can not be found. After I re scan library, the subtitle will be found. Is there something wrong i set up? ================================================================================== I test it again, when I refresh the movie's metadata, it's subtitle will be found, no need to refresh the library. My emby library setting: =========================================================================================== I switch from windows-emby-portable-server to docker-emby-server, it work fine now. fcymk2 2 Posted May 24, 2017 Author Posted May 24, 2017 Do you have library monitoring enabled? yes, i open the `enable real time monitoring`
Luke 42083 Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 @@fcymk2 you may need to give it a few minutes after adding the subtitle file. There is a delay incorporated with the realtime monitor. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks !

Solution ebr 16187 Posted May 26, 2017 Solution Posted May 26, 2017 Okay, so does that answer your question? We don't immediately react to file system changes because people usually make multiple changes at a time. So we wait until the changes stop before ingesting all the new items.
