Question about anti virus

I haven't had a problem with emby running, until this new update now it just keeps shutting down once i start it up on the desktop..

I have no idea what is causing this besides the update..

Hi, make sure you have the "Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (x64) 14.0.23506" package installed, it is now a requirement and if you don't have it Emby will not start.

it's not installed, but i do have 5 other versions of it installed.. Where do i get it at?

If you download the latest version of Emby from the website it will do it for you.

i have the latest version and still didn't install it on my pc..

i think i have fixed it though... I just went ahead and deleted all of emby and reinstalled it now i have to wait hours for my media to be updated.. 

 

But thanks for your help though, it was weird i guess my antivirus found something it didn't like or something in emby and deleted it and caused the error.
